Role Responsibilities
Oversees hospital operations during times when administration is not present
Manages performance, schedules, and provides education and coaching as needed
Assists the DON in conducting department meetings
Demonstrates thorough nursing knowledge including assessments, treatment planning, discharge and admission procedures, medication distribution, and medical care
Delivers quality nursing care to meet treatment plan goals
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old and a graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state
CPR certification and CPI training within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
Experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting, with preferred experience in chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric care. Skills in assessments, treatment planning, and communication with external review entities are also preferred.
Salary range: $45 - $64 per hour. Compensation may vary based on circumstances.
