to join our team in Ames.

Schedule

Full‑Time

40 hours per week within clinic hours

Clinic hours: 7:30am‑6:00pm

What You’ll Do

Administer appropriate standardized tests/screenings/informal assessments/clinical observations.

Review medical, educational, social, and financial information to provide recommendations, referrals, and follow‑up for each case.

Provide interpretation and/or counseling of test results to children/young adults/caregivers and ongoing feedback regarding progress.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on developing, implementing, and revising therapy plans based on assessments and policy.

Develop individualized plan of care to meet the needs of the child/young adult/caregiver, including appropriate frequency and duration.

Provide specialized pediatric treatment activities to children and young adults.

What You’ll Need

A master’s degree in a Speech Language Pathology program.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Preferred: 1+ years in clinical practice with pediatric experience.

Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
