A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students in a school setting. This contract position is based in Derry, NH, with an anticipated duration covering the current school year (CSY). The role involves delivering targeted speech and language interventions to help young learners improve their communication skills and achieve their academic potential. Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement individualized speech and language therapy services for elementary school students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop and monitor student progress Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and prepare necessary reports Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional expertise toward student goals Provide strategies and support for students to generalize skills within the classroom environment Qualifications And Experience
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or appropriate state licensure Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and evidence-based intervention techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Location: Derry, NH How to Apply
