JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as an Animal Care Supervisor in the Government and Public Services Industry Sector, focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as City of Charlotte (COC) and Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA). The position is located in the Mid Atlantic Region – Charlotte, NC (680 East 4th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Direct daily operations of animal care staff.
Monitor animal health and coordinate veterinary care.
Develop care and enrichment protocols.
Ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
Support public adoption and education initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years in animal care or shelter management.
Supervisory and animal care experience.
SKILLS REQUIRED Primarily focused on professional and management development training initiatives, aligned with functional area activities.
Staff management, scheduling, animal behavior knowledge.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Leadership, compassion, operational efficiency.
