Walker State Prison - 97 Kevin Lane, Rock Spring, GA 30739 Work Schedule:
Monday through Thursday from 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisors are responsible for: Supervise counselors and other clinical support staff delivering assessment, substance use disorder education and treatment, and case management to clients. Oversee client program: evaluate counselors’ work performance, audit client records to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance and achievement of service delivery objectives. Serve as a professional resource to other counselors in resolving complex case problems and provide clinical supervision and guidance. Interpret and enforce the organization and facility policies and procedures, contribute to the development of treatment protocols and processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, mental health or substance abuse counseling, or closely related field Six months of clinical supervisor experience 3.5 years of experience as a Certified Counselor (CACII or CADC II) OR LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Addictionologist, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist Must be able to obtain certification as a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) within eighteen (18) months of the first date Clinical Supervisor performs services Compensation (based on experience and credentials): $60,000 - $61,550 Gateway Foundation conducts annual reviews including merit increases. Physical Requirements: Work in a correctional facility Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clients Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
