The College of Engineering at the University of Georgia is one of the fastest growing programs at UGA and one of the fastest growing public colleges of engineering in the nation. Since our founding in 2012, enrollment in the College of Engineering has grown to over 2,400 students. Duties/Responsibilities
Project Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of ongoing research projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. Coordinate with team members to allocate resources and maintain communication. Monitor outcomes and adjust plans accordingly. (20%)
Student Mentorship:
Mentor students involved in research, guiding methodologies, experimental design, and data analysis. Support their academic and professional development. Foster an inclusive environment. (20%)
Proposal Development:
Collaborate on funding proposals, draft sections on objectives, methodologies, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. (15%)
Research and Innovation:
Conduct independent research in AI applications in manufacturing, identify trends, and develop new initiatives. (15%)
Collaboration and Networking:
Engage with partners, present findings, and promote the research agenda. (15%)
Publication and Dissemination:
Prepare research papers and reports for publication and presentation. (15%)
