Neuro Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
at our 434-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility. We offer a family-friendly work environment, ideal for new graduates starting their careers or experienced nurses seeking a change.
Schedule: Fri/Sat/Sun, 7p-7a (FT w/ Benefits) Benefits include: Health, dental, and vision insurance, including pet insurance Up to $20k in student loan repayment assistance Tuition reimbursement and 100% license/certification reimbursement 401k Paid time off Responsibilities: Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care. Assist physicians during examinations and procedures. Perform patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice for a registered nurse. Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Use experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals, performing a variety of tasks concurrently. Require an associate's degree and an active, unrestricted RN license. Be familiar with standard nursing concepts, practices, and procedures. Grandview Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and offers comprehensive programs in various medical and surgical specialties, including Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Women's Health, Mental Health, Digestive Diseases, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehab, Sports Medicine, and Emergency Care. With over 600 physicians across 30 specialties, the hospital is recognized for Metabolic and Bariatric surgery by ASMBS & ACS and is an accredited chest pain center.
