Job Summary
We seek a dedicated part-time Speech Language Pathologist committed to supporting students' communication needs across diverse abilities and backgrounds. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, treating speech and language disorders, collaborating with educators, and guiding families to improve student outcomes. Job Description
Essential Duties Develop and conduct evaluations to assess speech and language capabilities; diagnose related disorders. Create and implement IEPs and treatment plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring compliance with regulations. Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings using evidence-based practices. Collaborate with teachers and specialists; participate in team and IEP meetings. Communicate progress to families and provide support resources. Maintain accurate records of assessments and therapy sessions. Stay updated on best practices; contribute to staff development. Advocate for students with speech and language needs and promote awareness. Cognitive Demands
Establish routines and procedures. Create assessment and intervention plans. Engage in professional development. Communicate effectively and demonstrate cultural awareness. Physical Demands
Occasionally lift/move objects up to 25 lbs. Stand, walk, sit, and perform physical activities as needed. Perform first aid/CPR if necessary. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid state license/certification. Experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively. Benefits
