Base pay range: $64,350.00/yr - $98,500.00/yr.
Job Description Guides Staff on Patient Primary and Prevention Education–diet and exercise guidelines. May mentor and train other exercise physiologists on technical skills. Interprets, recommends, and formulates exercise prescriptions for patients. Assesses and designs an appropriate exercise regimen and administers the exercise component. Educates patients and families of exercise and nutritional components and provides feedback on patient progress.
Job Responsibilities
Assess patient exercise and nutritional needs for weight management, athletic sports participation, rehabilitation, and chronically ill patients.
Develop exercise and pharmacological stress protocols.
Guide staff on patient primary and prevention education – diet and exercise guidelines.
Mentor and train other exercise physiologists on technical skills.
Design and implement patient‑specific therapeutic nutritional and exercise programs.
Conduct group sessions designed for patient education regarding nutritional, dietary, and exercise issues in collaboration with physicians and staff.
Perform follow‑up on all patient therapeutic interventions.
Document and provide feedback on patient progress.
Prepare and maintain required reports and statistics.
Assess program needs and prepare orders for supplies.
Maintain inventory of program equipment and supplies to ensure availability.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science required.
Current Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM) Certification.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR Certification.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
3‑5 years of relevant experience required.
