Job Summary St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Therapist to join our team. This role focuses on serving those with a substance use disorder. The ideal candidate will hold independent licensure in Kentucky and possess a strong background in therapeutic approaches for substance use disorder.
Responsibilities
Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using a trauma-informed lens to address substance use disorders and promote recovery.
Enhance motivation for change, evoke change, and respect patient autonomy.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs and monitor progress.
Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and develop individual treatment plans in compliance with regulations.
Understand the disease model, with a focus on addiction medicine as a pathway to recovery.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team for holistic patient care.
Meet patient care expectations for the role.
Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
Independent licensure in Kentucky as an LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent.
Experience in addiction medicine, therapeutic counseling, or mental health services preferred.
Must have 80 hours of continuing education related to substance use disorders within four years or obtain within two years of hire.
Expertise in evidence-based therapy methods such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Schedule and Benefits Evening hours are required, with a rotation of evening groups. Full-time position with flexible scheduling. Benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off. Opportunities for professional development are available.
