The
CT Technologist
performs computed tomography and diagnostic scans of designated anatomical areas in accordance with established practices and procedures. The technologist obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns and is responsible for maintaining patient record and files. They perform general CT procedures and assist with CT guided IVR procedures. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (required) Licensure: Certification: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(required) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) obtained within one (1) year of employment or transferring into position (required) Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
