Schedule: PRN - 2 Weekend Days per month and 2 Holidays per year

Shift: Day

Location: 501 Redmond Road, Rome, GA 30165

Rome’s historical markers help document the city’s history and gives insight into the culturally rich heritage.

Population- 36,332 (2019 census)

Developed a regional center for the fields of medical care and education

In addition to its public-school system, it has several private schools. Higher-level educational institutions include private Berry College and Shorter University, and the public Georgia Northwestern Technical College and Georgia Highlands College.

Largest city near the center of the triangular area defined by the Interstate highways between Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, and Chattanooga, TN.

The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for providing direct and indirect Physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist in a professional manner and within hospital standards. This position delivers therapy aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and quality of life and adheres to the corporate compliance plan and all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies, and accrediting bodies.

Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures, and other extensions of clinical expertise to the community.

Implements individualized treatment plans based on physical therapy evaluations and through consideration of practice standards, recommended techniques, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.

Modifies treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments in consultation with physical therapist.

Collects patient data and communicates with the physical therapists regarding discharge recommendations when maximum benefit has been achieved.

The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:

Associates in physical therapy Required

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) [Required] OR

Physical Therapy Assistant - TEMP (PTA-TEMP) [Required]
