Licensed Psychotherapist (LMHC/LICSW/LMFT/Psy.D/Ph.D.). Greater Lowell Psychiatric Associates, LLC (GLPA) is a group private practice located in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts. We have served as a community resource to the Merrimack Valley since 1978. Our practice offers a comprehensive range of innovative, holistic, and evidence-based mental health services including individual, couples, family, and group therapy, assessments, psychopharmacology, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Our therapists work with a wide range of concerns and use modalities such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems therapy, focusing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, and hypnotherapy. Providers are credentialed with many insurance companies allowing us to reach a wide client base. Providers at GLPA enjoy the independence and flexibility of private practice along with the camaraderie, access to clinical consultation, and shared billing and EHR services of a group.
Responsibilities
Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy within an outpatient private practice setting, in alignment with GLPA services. Collaborate with a team of clinicians, participate in weekly clinical team meetings with case consultation and peer supervision. Utilize a range of evidence-based modalities (e.g., psychodynamic, mindfulness, IFS, focusing, CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, hypnotherapy) as appropriate to client needs. Engage in clinical documentation and coordinate with administrative support for scheduling and referrals as available. Contribute to a collaborative, ethical, client-centered treatment environment and uphold professional standards.
Qualifications
Education:
Master’s or doctorate degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology or marriage and family counseling from an accredited college or university Licenses/Certifications:
Current license to practice independently in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist (Psy.D or Ph.D.) Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in mental health Prior experience with electronic health records (EHR) and comfort with computers Qualities:
Committed to providing high-quality, ethical, evidence-based treatment to vulnerable populations Able to contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere
