We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our NICU team. About Our Unit
Our Magic Valley NICU is an 18-bed unit rated as a Level 3 NICU. We are part of St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital and provide care for babies who are born prematurely (30 weeks and up) or with medical issues. Our neonatologists or neonatal nurse practitioners are on site 24/7. Our dedicated nurses support our Pediatric and Mother Baby Units. Patient ratios: 1:3 (1:1 or 1:2 for high acuity). Responsibilities
Provide specialized care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention. Monitor and assess the health of premature or ill infants. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Administer medications as prescribed. Educate parents on neonatal care. Opportunities and Certifications
PALS NRP STABLE NICU Education RNC-NIC Certification Qualifications
Education: Associate or Bachelor2s Degree in Nursing Experience: 1+ years of nursing experience; 2+ years NICU experience strongly preferred Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the state of practice Compensation and Benefits
