Overview
Responsible for supervising and performing all pharmacy operations in accordance with accredited hospital policies and procedures, USP 797/800, ethical and professional practices, ACHC standards, and State and Federal requirements. Responsibilities
This Pharmacist will support our Outpatient Oncology Infusion Service in New Albany, Indiana. This position may support the other Infusion Centers in Louisville, Kentucky, after obtaining Kentucky license. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist is responsible and accountable for the provisions of safe, effective, and timely medication therapy, as well as, utilization of knowledge and expertise in sterile compounding of hazardous and non-hazardous medications in provision of pharmaceutical care. Additionally, this position is responsible for drug preparation and distribution of medications; evaluating, inputting and verification of medication orders; assisting providers and other health care professionals by serving as a drug information resource; monitoring chemotherapy regimens to ensure safe and effective treatment; and managing pharmacy inventory. Qualifications
Graduate of accredited College of Pharmacy Indiana Board of Pharmacy license upon hire Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license within six months Oncology Infusion experience as Pharmacist preferred BLS within 90 days ACLS within 6 months Baptist Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
