Our founders include over 150 years of combined experience among nurses, healthcare administrators, and other professionals in the post-acute industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. We serve patients in San Benito, Santa Clara, and San Mateo counties and are expanding to Alameda, Contra Costa, and Solano counties. We currently have an immediate opening in Santa Clara County for a per diem or part-time Speech Therapist. DOE in Oasis home healthcare setting Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work with patients of all ages to improve speech, language, and communication abilities. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Provide therapy to improve speech articulation, fluency, voice quality, and language skills Assist patients in developing alternative communication methods, such as sign language or AAC devices Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and strategies for ongoing progress Maintain accurate patient records Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience with communication disorders preferred Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing Familiarity with speech therapy techniques and interventions Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Skills: Physiology knowledge Patient care and assessment Medical terminology Speech therapy techniques Critical care and case management Hospital experience Anatomy knowledge Experience in acute care settings Join our team of dedicated professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with communication disorders.
