Diagnostic Med Sonographer – Trinity Health MI
Join our remarkable care team as a sonographer in the Radiology-Ultrasound Department at Trinity Health MI.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of a Radiologist, perform sonographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail, using ultrasound for diagnosis.
Complete exams of abdominal, pelvic, transvaginal, small parts, breast, and obstetric (OB
14 weeks).
Assist in guidance of needle placement for breast biopsy, thyroid biopsy, liver biopsy, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and breast wire placement.
Qualifications
High school graduation or equivalent.
Satisfactory completion of an ultrasound program or similar training to meet qualifications for registration.
Required to have RDMS credentials and an updated BLS.
