SSC Services For Education . We are hiring immediately for full time HVAC Technician positions at the Jerome, ID location. Location: Jerome - 125 4th Avenue West, Jerome, ID 83338. Schedule: Full time; days and hours may vary. More details upon interview. Pay range: $30.00 per hour to $32.00 per hour. Perks include a $5,000 Sign-On & Retention Bonus (paid in installments over 1 year; payout details discussed in interview). Note: online applications accepted only. Updates work statuses and documents tasks completed in the CMMS using a mobile device. Help determine manpower, material needs, and deadlines for jobs and projects. Clean, lubricate, service, repair, and diagnose malfunctions of HVAC and related building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and related equipment. Assist in making decisions on repairs and report major problems to the Maintenance Supervisor, Foreman, or Master Mechanic as appropriate. Construct, install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems using appropriate tools and equipment. Review outside vendor projects and prepare punch lists. Analyze and correct complex building system problems related to utilities. Support project management activities as needed and respond to emergency problems in the facility. Maintain logs, perform rounds, and complete preventive maintenance tasks, tests, and inspections. Make recommendations for modification or improvement of preventive maintenance systems. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in shops and mechanical areas. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline. One of the following: Journeyman Electrical License, Registered ACR Technician with EPA certification in Refrigerant, or Journeyman Plumber License. Experience working with blueprints and schematics. Valid driver’s license. General understanding of electro-mechanical equipment. Rudimentary ability to utilize hand-operated construction equipment. Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor for extended periods. Working Conditions
Some exposure to high heat, noise, dust, dirt, and areas requiring infection control. Must be able to meet daily deadlines and work all hours, including weekends and nights, as necessary to maintain facility at the appropriate and safe level. Benefits and Additional Information
