This is not typical assembly line work—the environment emphasizes low repetition and high customization, requiring adaptability, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Successful candidates will thrive in a prototype and development environment, with work complexity ranging from entry-level (Level 1) to subject matter expert (Level 3).

Fabrication and Assembly:

Expertly fabricate and assemble interior panels and assemblies according to precise, program-specific processes. Manage multiple unique projects simultaneously, ensuring each meets stringent quality and customization standards.

Trim to Fit & Customization:

Precisely trim, shape, and fit components to meet unique design requirements, demonstrating advanced customization skills for complex assemblies. Adapt fabrication techniques to accommodate varying materials and design.

Material Handling:

Work with materials like adhesives, resins, honeycomb core, carpet, fiberglass, and aluminum, cutting, laying out, and processing them.

Component Installation:

Install fittings like latches, hinges, and brackets, and prepare panels for adhesive application.

Finishing:

Apply decorative finishes, perform complex bending and assembly using jigs and fixtures, and create high-quality vinyl laminate layups tailored to each project's unique specifications and product combinations.

Tool Operation:

Utilize shop power tools, including routers, table saws, band saws, drill presses, pneumatic tools, rivet guns, specialty grinders, and other fabrication equipment.

Quality Control:

Conduct visual checks, in-process rework, and maintain records.

Troubleshooting:

Identify fabrication and assembly challenges proactively, applying strong problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective solutions that maintain product integrity and schedule.

Following Instructions:

Accurately interpret and adapt technical drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions to deliver highly customized, precision-fit components for each unique program.

Maintaining a Safe Environment:

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
