As a Mechanical Engineer you will work with a multi-discipline team of engineers in the design, analysis, and evaluation of systems using engineering software, including support to more senior engineers. Annually Paid: We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year. You will report to the Engineering Manager of Balance of Plant Mechanical Engineering and be located at our Rockhill, SC facility. Responsibilities
Apply engineering principles and engineering codes & standards, such as ASME and ANSI, to the design, analysis, and evaluation of systems. Resolve technical issues for operating nuclear power plants, new plants (e.g., AP1000, eVinci), and other nuclear projects (e.g., fuel fabrication facilities). Develop calculations and reports to document design and analysis results following ASME Section III code requirements and other international codes. Work with engineers in other disciplines such as electrical and civil/structural. Participate on project teams with internal and external representation. Participate in customer and vendor meetings to present technical materials and justification of services and product designs. Perform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering Required. Other Engineering Disciplines will NOT be considered for our Mechanical Engineer positions. GPA 3.0 and Above We can only consider applicants who are Authorized to work in the United States without the need for Visa sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor work Visas for this position at this time or in the future. 0+ years of experience. Power industry (e.g., nuclear power plant) experience preferred Familiarity with ASME Section III criteria. Work with multiple functions to coordinate the flow of information. In the English language. Proficiency on other languages. Accuracy Work in an international team environment. Relocate for short-term and long-term assignments. LI-Hybrid
