Site Supervisor / HVAC Mechanic III Overview
The Site Supervisor / HVAC Mechanic III is part of the Cushman & Wakefield facilities management team, directly overseeing maintenance technicians at the assigned site. The Supervisor provides a dependable and functional office environment, performs technical and supervisory roles, travel between worksites, responds to after‑hours emergencies, and supports a self‑performance service delivery model. Responsibilities
Maintain regular collaborative working relationships with manager, employees, and clients. Provide hands‑on training and technical expertise to supervise staff for troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems. Directly supervise and assist the maintenance team; oversee all building systems. Respond to all emergency situations quickly (fire, evacuation, equipment, etc.) and client concerns – 24/7. Follow and enforce compliance with C&W and client policies, including recruitment, termination, discipline, and performance evaluations. Execute the corporate safety program to promote an injury‑free workplace. Vendor management and contract administration, including scope of work, evaluation, selection, and inspection of work performed. Support budgetary planning and control of expenditures. Develop, coordinate, and maintain an effective planned preventive maintenance program for building systems and assets. Manage technicians’ working schedules, including PTO, sick days, holiday coverage, on‑call coverage, and OT schedules. Act as liaison with federal, state, and local agencies, contractors, and client community on all technical matters affecting facilities management. Benefits
