Position Description
Carlin – Open Pit Maintenance Frontline Supervisor at Nevada Gold Mines (NGM). The Supervisor will ensure that all planned maintenance activities for the truck and support fleet are properly executed in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities
Ensure proper execution of all planned maintenance activities for the truck and support fleet. Track maintenance on a fleet of surface mining equipment. Conduct employee performance evaluations, monitor safety performance, and track hours for direct reports. Conduct pre‑shift inspections and monthly Planned General Inspections (PGIs). Enter down code information into the Mining Dispatch System; perform and review Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRAs) and document incidents in RIMS, maintaining quality control procedures. Promote a safe working environment and encourage crew members to support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide support to operations as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Five (5) years of experience in maintenance of large, open‑pit mobile equipment in a planned maintenance environment. Two (2) years of experience in a maintenance supervisory or lead role demonstrating increasing responsibility. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office, Oracle, and dispatch systems. Excellent leadership skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to cross‑train in Maintenance Planning. Ability to work effectively with maintenance technicians and other site personnel. Capability to perform the essential functions of this job. What We Can Offer You
