Build something that lasts—right from launch.

Bridor USA is opening a modern industrial bakery in Salt Lake City. We’re looking for a Mechatronics Technician who thrives on automating complex processes, partnering across teams, and elevating product quality at scale. From first power-up to steady-state operations, you’ll shape how our lines perform.

Your mission

You’ll be a founding member of the maintenance and automation function, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. To prepare, you’ll receive immersive, hands‑on training at our facilities in Vineland, NJ and Boucherville, Canada. Expect travel roughly every two weeks until our Salt Lake City plant is fully operational in early 2026.

Imagine this scenario

A vision system flags product variability on a packaging line. You dive into the HMI, validate IO, then refine PLC logic and adjust a drive parameter. The result: tighter control, reduced waste, and consistent quality—documented, compliant, and repeatable.

Execute preventive maintenance and calibration for control systems/instrumentation

Respond to and resolve automation issues rapidly to cut downtime

Partner with Production, QA, and Engineering to uphold food safety and operational excellence

Adjust and optimize control logic to lift throughput, reduce scrap, and improve uniformity

Maintain rigorous records: changes, PMs, calibrations, and compliance documentation

Operate to the highest standards: GMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA, USDA

Assist with commissioning and integrating new automation technologies and equipment

Experience profile
