Base pay range $70.00/hr - $90.00/hr

We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
specializing in
vertical construction
for large-scale projects ranging from
$20M to $50M . This role is
owner-side project management , overseeing design, construction, and hand-off to facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven experience managing complex vertical builds, particularly in
public-facing, governmental, and safety-critical environments .
Key Responsibilities
Manage
vertical construction projects
from design through completion and facilities hand-off.
Oversee
large-scale new construction
projects, including highly technical builds such as
Sheriff’s safety complexes .
Ensure alignment with
safety and emergency response standards .
Coordinate
project inspection
and final turnover to facilities teams.
Work closely with governmental agencies (e.g.,
Tax Collector ) and ensure compliance with public-sector requirements.
Manage systems integration:
fire suppression, electrical, HVAC, life safety , and other critical infrastructure.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Provide accurate
cost estimates and quotes
for project phases.
Required Experience
Extensive experience in vertical construction
(not horizontal or underground work).
Expertise in
fire suppression, electrical, HVAC, life safety systems , and retrofits.
Experience with
public-facing facilities
such as
office, medical, aviation, and healthcare .
Strong understanding of
civil and engineering principles
for vertical builds.
Proven ability to manage
$20M–$50M projects .
Preferred Qualifications
GC License
(General Contractor).
PMP or PMI Certification .
Prior experience with
government-related projects
is highly desirable.
Familiarity with
design-build processes
and working within existing spaces.
Plusses
Experience with
governmental functions
and emergency response planning.
Ability to manage
owner-side responsibilities
beyond traditional construction management
