Since 2014, the McWane Ductile Ohio Co-Op program has filled over 40 positions in the last 5 years, with 8 Co-Ops accepting full-time positions. There are also possible full-time opportunities with other McWane Divisions throughout the US and globally. Students in our Co-Op program will gain valuable hands-on experience in all facets of manufacturing and operations in a Foundry Environment. The program fosters personal development, and you will learn about leadership competencies through training, networking, and coaching. A blend of On-The-Floor and In-Office work assignments will help the applicant develop a wide range of experiences in: Project Management - leading and seeing projects through to completion Problem Solving – defining problems, determining causes, and developing and implementing solutions Real-world challenges that all businesses face and are important to understand Interacting across all levels of the organization Note: There are opportunities to do double-semester Co-Op. Responsibilities

Mechanical design of parts or assemblies for in-plant usage. Create or update CAD Models, Part Drawings, and Installation Drawings with AutoCAD or Inventor 3-D. Field measuring and verifying equipment placement in plant. Project management including working with plant personnel and contractors. Perform hands-on troubleshooting of hydraulics and pneumatics systems. File management and documentation. Assist assignment leader with day-to-day activities. Present completed work to team in design reviews. Qualifications

Qualifications: Pursuing BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Minimum of 1 year of classes completed. About the company
