Salary: $85,000 - $130,000 per year

Responsibilities

Design and oversee building‑related civil engineering projects, including site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, and land development.

Collaborate with architects, project managers, and municipal officials to ensure projects meet design intent, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Prepare and review construction documents, plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.

Conduct site assessments and provide engineering input from concept through project completion.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Kentucky, or the ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in buildings, site development, and civil design for vertical construction projects (not road or highway work).

Strong knowledge of site grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems.

Proficiency with civil design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar).

Strong communication and collaboration skills with clients, municipalities, and internal teams.
