In the role of Civil Construction Inspector I, you'll be responsible for: Conducting and documenting observations of construction progress for civil projects related to infrastructure such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations, and pipelines. Monitoring, recording, and inspecting construction progress. Coordinating field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testing. Receiving general supervision from the Senior Inspector, who reviews work in progress. Performing other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Some demonstrated experience in construction inspection. Ability to interpret construction schedules. #LI-JM8 Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Successful passing of drug-screening procedures prior to employment; subsequent random and cause drug and alcohol testing required.
