Responsibilities Round on all equipment and supply rooms. Maintains cleanliness of essential equipment, including wheelhouses. Appropriately uses 2-Bin system for organizing supplies. Inventories equipment daily, Ensures clean equipment is stored properly. Places special orders in ordering system. Unpacks and stocks special orders. Demonstrates flexibility to work with multiple teams and multiple campuses and ancillary departments. Maintains proper bins for medication waste. Maintain log of equipment. Enters Biomedical work orders for equipment maintenance. Report any finding to department management, Works with the Patient Care Manager, Assistant Patient Care Manager, Clinical Leader, Bedside Registered Nurses, Oncology Techs, and other Ancillary Departments. Communication with patients, visitors, and staff in a courtesy manner.
Credentials and Qualifications High School Diploma/GED. Basic Life Support (BLS) Computer skills (word, excel, etc.). Must demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills. Must have comfort level with technology and equipment. Aptitude for compassionate patient care. Read, write and interpret instructions.
Preferred Associate’s degree. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) One year of previous hospital experience preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant or Health Unit Coordinator experience preferred.
