for our contemporary sleepwear team. The position offers a hybrid schedule. Candidates must be able to work in our corporate office located in Jersey City, NJ. The
Junior CAD Designer
will support the CAD team in the creation and development of seasonal print collections. This position includes responsibilities in digital print design, color management, and production preparation within a fast-paced creative environment.
Responsibilities
Assist Senior CAD Designers in the development of seasonal print collections. Match colors accurately for seasonal collections and special projects. Match color for seasonal collections. Put designs into repeat. Index and color-separate artwork for production readiness. Support maintenance of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems — training will be provided. Maintain organized digital and physical records of print assets, including: File structure and saving protocols Print books and headers Pantone libraries
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile design, or similar field. 1-4 years experience as a CAD/Jr. Print Designer in women\'s apparel. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. Must be able to draw and do repeats in Photoshop. In-depth knowledge of print and textile designs, color matching and creation of colorways. Must have a great eye for color and a high taste level in style. Strong organizational, time management and communication skills. Ability to illustrate Novelty/ conversational concepts is a plus.
