What You Will Do
Perform precision soldering and assembly of surface mount (SMT) and through-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs). Debug and troubleshoot electronic boards at the component and system level using schematics, multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment. Execute functional and system-level tests on electronic circuits and products following test procedures and protocols. Support engineering teams by building, modifying, and reworking prototypes. Good documentation skills and attention to detail. Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
Bonus points for the following
IPC soldering certification (e.g., J-STD-001, IPC-A-610). Familiarity with microcontroller programming and firmware updates. Experience with automated test systems or scripting (Python, LabVIEW, etc.).
