We’re currently seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor to join our professional field operations team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of every project we deliver. Perform field layout, staking, and grade verification for grading, paving, drainage, and structural work. Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control points. Interpret and apply construction plans, specifications, and coordinate data. Operate GPS and total station equipment (Trimble systems preferred). Support project managers and superintendents by providing accurate data for daily construction operations. Conduct as‑built surveys and maintain detailed field records. Assist in verifying quantities and alignments to ensure project compliance. Maintain survey equipment and uphold field safety and quality standards. Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2 years of construction surveying experience (Heavy Highway or Civil Construction preferred). Strong working knowledge of GPS and total station systems. Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings. Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a field environment. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Willingness to travel to project sites within Central and South Texas.
