Project Engineer - Commercial Construction (Madison, WI)
Location: Madison, WI
Base salary: $70,000 – $110,000 per year (based on experience)
What You’ll Do
Support Project Managers/Superintendents with daily coordination and execution
Review drawings, specs, and submittals; track RFIs and change orders
Coordinate with subcontractors; assist with schedules and cost tracking
Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
Partner with field teams to uphold safety and quality standards
Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners
Participate in meetings, progress updates, and closeout
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
1‑5 years of commercial construction experience (internships count)
Solid understanding of construction methods, drawings, and materials
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft Office
Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
Self‑driven, detail‑focused, and team‑oriented
