CNC Machinist II - 2nd Shift

Cadrex is searching for a CNC Machinist II who will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations by efficiently operating and maintaining CNC machinery. The position requires solid understanding of CNC operations, ability to perform complex setups, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality standards are met under the guidance of our production team.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines to produce components, monitor machining processes, and make real-time adjustments as needed for optimal performance.
Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify part dimensions and quality.
Make necessary tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments based on production requirements and engineering specifications.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes; identify and report any machine malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Troubleshoot machine issues and quality problems, implementing corrective actions to maintain production flow and quality standards.
Follow strict safety protocols, ensuring the safety of yourself and colleagues; maintain a clean and organized work area.
Accurately document production records, including part counts, machine logs, and quality control data.
Collaborate effectively with the production team, CNC programmers, and engineers to optimize machining processes and achieve production targets.
Qualifications
2+ years’ experience as a CNC machinist.
Consistently produce a high-quality product according to required specifications and output volumes.
Understand machine operation process and component movement.
Proficient in using computers, measuring tools, and reading blueprints.
Accurate completion of paperwork.
Operate all hand tools, machines, and equipment with minimal supervision.
Work effectively as part of a productive team and handle fast‑paced work environments.
Take initiative to complete tasks without explicit instruction.
Dependable with good attendance.
Education
High school diploma
2‑year technical certification or equivalent experience
Location Onsite
Schedule M-F
