Responsibilities
Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines to produce complex parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
Program CNC machines using G-code and other programming languages as needed.
Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor production processes and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve machining processes and efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with 5-axis machines.
Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments and tools.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
