A&P Mechanics
in
Boise, Idaho

STS Line Maintenance is one of the largest line maintenance providers in the United States. Our technicians deliver reliable, high-quality service through a nationwide rapid-response network that keeps aircraft flying safely and efficiently.
We're offering
competitive pay between $28 and $40 per hour, depending on experience (DOE) .
Responsibilities
Support daily aircraft maintenance operations and ensure all work meets FAA and company airworthiness standards
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair a variety of transport category aircraft airframes and engines using approved tools, manuals, and test equipment
Maintain the highest level of safety, quality, and integrity at all times
Perform component adjustments, repairs, or replacements based on analysis of test results and maintenance documentation
Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and repair or replace as required
Work closely with airline representatives, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers to ensure timely service and communication
Perform tasks outdoors and in varying weather conditions as required
Ensure aircraft are serviced and released in accordance with company and regulatory policies
Work may include maintenance on
B737NG/MAX, A320 family, and E145/170/175 aircraft
Other duties as assigned by the Station Manager or Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technicians
Qualifications and Requirements
Current and valid
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
with no history of infractions
Minimum of 2 years of recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft preferred
Must provide own standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tooling provided)
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and able to work independently
Must be able to stand, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations
Must pass a background check, drug and alcohol test, and Customs & Border Patrol clearance
Basic to mid-level computer literacy and organizational skills
Prior experience under a
Part 145 Repair Station
or
Part 135
environment preferred
Inspection Authorization (IA)
License a plus
Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
Strong troubleshooting skills for airframe and engine systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic
Must be flexible to work varied schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Exceptional communication, professionalism, and customer service focus
