Welder/Fabricator - Build the Backbone of Carbon Conversion Systems

Why This Role Matters Our systems only work if they're built right. As a Welder/Fabricator, you'll ensure that all fabricated assemblies meet spec, withstand pressure, and hold up in the field. This critical shop-floor work directly supports system performance, safety, and scalability.
What You'll Do
Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, Inconel, and other metal components using GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG processes
Fit-up and fabricate pipe, tubing, and assemblies per drawings and tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and process specs
Prep materials—cutting, beveling, and cleaning to ensure proper fit and weld integrity
Operate standard fab shop tools: saws, grinders, drills, fixtures
Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and documentation
Assist with job staging, material handling, and movement of parts using forklift/mobile equipment
Provide feedback on design for manufacturability and propose process improvements
Support a wide range of business needs beyond fabrication, assisting cross‑functional teams with prototyping, assembly, testing, and general operations as required to meet project and organizational goals
Communicate clearly and proactively with team members, engineers, and leadership to share progress, flag issues early, provide solutions, and keep projects moving efficiently
Demonstrate flexibility to support extended work hours or workweeks as needed to meet critical project deadlines or business priorities
Support and mentor junior fabricators; be a go‑to technical resource
Requirements
5-10+ years of welding experience, focused on stainless steel and high‑spec hardware
High proficiency in TIG welding thin‑wall pipe and structural elements
Comfort with MIG processes and multi‑pass welding
Strong blueprint reading and fit‑up skills
Attention to detail and pride in clean, consistent welds
Willingness to take feedback and adapt to a high‑performance team culture
Availability for overtime and occasional weekend work (7:00 am‑3:30 pm core hours)
U.S.-based only. No relocation assistance
Bonus Points For
Experience with Inconel or pressure‑rated weldments
Experience with laser welding (wire and fusion) and similar productivity improvement processes
Background in energy, emissions, or industrial gas systems
Familiarity with lean fabrication and continuous improvement
