Responsibilities

Perform testing and maintenance on low, medium, and high voltage power distribution equipment for commercial and industrial clients.

Testing and calibrations: instrument transformer, power transformer, cable testing, circuit breaker & switchgear testing, protective relay testing, power quality, continuity, ground fault.

Troubleshoot, inspect, start‑ups, and collect data on switchgear, circuit breakers, cables, transformers, protective relays, VFDs, ATS.

Service & repair: inspections, diagnosis, replace parts, make recommendations, recommissioning.

Adhere to safety protocols including LOTO.

Communicate information to customers in a clear, understandable way.

Complete documentation and reports on work performed.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electrical Power or related technical training (or military experience).

Experience testing low and medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, and/or protective relays.

NETA Certification II/III highly preferred or equivalent.

Power DB experience a plus.

3+ years of driving experience, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to read schematics, operating manuals, and safety guidelines.

Flexible hours, overtime, weekends, on‑call availability.
