We are seeking a seasoned
Construction Project Manager
to join the team in Los Angeles. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized professional with extensive experience managing diverse construction projects, including grocery stores, fitness centers, interior build-outs, and big-box retail. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities
Lead multiple construction projects simultaneously, managing all phases from preconstruction to project closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control standards.
Coordinate daily with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor project progress, anticipate potential risks, and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
Maintain thorough documentation, including reports, meeting notes, and progress updates.
Foster strong communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and field personnel.
Support problem‑solving efforts on‑site, addressing challenges and providing solutions to ensure project success.
Qualifications
Proven construction project management experience, specifically in grocery, fitness, interior build‑outs, or big‑box retail projects.
Strong understanding of construction methods, industry standards, and applicable codes.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams effectively.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while coordinating cross‑functional teams and maintaining stakeholder alignment.
