Follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements. Perform cleanup duties. Perform material handling and storage duties. Identify, use, and care for common hand and power tools. Use and care for craft-specific tools and equipment. Apply craft-related mathematics. Follow safety standards and best practices relevant to rigging, inspect rigging equipment and hardware. Use common hitches, emergency stop signals, basic crane hand signals, knot tying (bowline & clove hitch), and rigging equipment relevant to craft-specific tasks. Perform oxyfuel cutting operations. Fabricate and install gaskets. Properly select fasteners. Fabricate shims. Perform basic lubrication. Remove and install couplings. Establish equipment and machinery. Establish center lines and elevations. Identify various types of bearings. Remove and install bearings. Perform conventional and reverse alignment. Pre-align for drilling and tapping. Set baseplates and soleplates. Repair and replace packing. Service mechanical seals. Install and replace bearings and bushings. Review construction drawings and blueprints to determine work requirements. Install fans and blowers. Job Requirements

Mental Demands:

Understand and carry out oral instructions. Read and follow written instructions to perform work tasks. Work at varying heights. Recognize, avoid, and report safety hazards. Assemble and disassemble objects. Operate equipment and power tools. Physical Demands:

Recognize hazards, safety warnings, and barriers. Bend knees for lifting and routine work tasks. Stoop for work positioning and lifting. Lift up to 50 lbs without assistance. Respond to audible/visual instructions, alarms, and warnings. Climb and balance on ladders, scaffolding, and structures. Kneel for work positioning. Reach above shoulders and away from the body. Demonstrate manual dexterity. Working Conditions:

Work in extreme heat or cold. Work where noise exceeds 85 decibels. Work in wet/humid environments. Work in cramped quarters. Work in environments with fluctuating ventilation.
