Senior Human Resources Manager @ Americo Manufacturing Company a CSG Company | Human Capital Management, ISO 14001:2015 Fibrix Filtration is looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to oversee the installation and maintenance of our industrial equipment. As an industrial maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. This is a second shift position.

To ensure success as an industrial maintenance technician, you should have advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good time‑management skills. Ultimately, a top‑class industrial maintenance technician boosts production by ensuring all production equipment functions correctly and receives regular maintenance.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery and distribution systems

Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment

Perform routine preventative maintenance

Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Previous experience in machinery or other related fields

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment

Ability to handle physical workload

Carry out all tasks assigned to him/her by the Maintenance Manager

Repair of machinery and troubleshooting, when necessary

Assist Line Operator with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical line problems

Report all unresolved maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager

Follow all quality/safety requirements and procedures

Participate in the continuous quality improvement program

Maintain all aspects of machinery and building as needed

Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled

Keep a clean and orderly workplace

Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non‑conformity related to product, process and the system

Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system

Control further processing, delivery or installation of non‑conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected

Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels

Verify the implementation of solutions

Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field preferred

Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician

In‑depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance

Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations

Basic computer and report writing skills

Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment

Manufacturing/ Production maintenance: 2 years (Required)
