Electronics Assembler / Soldering Technician — Oldsmar, FL | 1st & 2nd Shift | OT available weekends
Summary: We are seeking skilled Electronics Assemblers / Soldering Technicians to perform assembly, soldering, and rework on circuit boards, modules, and electronic systems. This role involves both repetitive and non-repetitive tasks, making it ideal for candidates with rack assembly, soldering, or electronic repair backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and solder electronic components (SMT & through-hole)
Perform advanced rework: BGA, QFN, high-density connector repair, fine-pitch soldering
Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies
Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble prototypes per specifications
Perform mechanical assembly (installing standoffs, spacers, adhesives/epoxies)
Use microscopes, soldering stations, reflow ovens, AOI/X-ray systems for inspection
Collaborate with engineering teams on design or quality issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Qualifications
2–5 years of electronics assembly, soldering, or rework experience
Familiar with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721 preferred)
Skilled in hand soldering, reflow soldering, and fine-pitch component work
Ability to read diagrams, blueprints, and technical documents
Strong attention to detail, dexterity, and quality focus
Must pass a medical exam per supplier guide; ability to read/write English
