Are you ready to take your construction career to the next level? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Project Manager (Construction) to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in some of the most innovative and cutting-edge construction projects. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be immersed in a variety of tasks, ensuring the smooth operation and successful completion of construction projects. Responsibilities
Assisting the Project Manager in all aspects of the project from planning to implementation. Coordinating and managing project tasks and deliverables, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget. Working closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met. Preparing and presenting project updates to stakeholders and senior management. Identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Ensuring compliance with all relevant construction safety and building regulations. Managing relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans. Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in commercial, residential, and multifamily projects. Proven experience as a Field Engineer or Project Engineer. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications. A valid driver\'s license and the ability to travel to different project sites as needed.
