is our center of excellence for Solid Rocket Motor Propulsion and Energetics development as well as high‑complexity production programs. The position will join an exceptional cross‑functional team of engineers and technicians to fabricate components and assemble them into the most advanced solid rocket systems in the world. The role may include functions such as fabrication of components, cleanup and assembly, operating machinery, mixing or processing liner materials, applying lining to cases and components, pressure testing, bonding, assembling, painting, precision part cleaning, mixing adhesives, applying torque to fasteners, and other duties to assemble and prepare for shipment. The technician maintains records, works safely, produces high quality product, and maintains a clean and orderly work area. Working under direct supervision, the Manufacturing Technician performs routine and repetitive duties within the manufacturing operations area and applies general manufacturing knowledge to solve basic problems.
Essential Functions
Precision Assembly of complex aerospace components.
Case prep, line and cast, cure, strip, and machine solid rocket propellant.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or lead.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior manufacturing experience or 2 years post‑secondary/associate’s degree with 0‑2 years related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to follow safety practices.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the work team and those contacted in the course of work.
