Carus Dental Georgetown University is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. Location: 950 University Ave. Suite 101 Georgetown, Texas 78626 Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm with some Fridays as needed. Full time is a minimum of 30 hours to receive full benefits. As a
Dental Hygienist , you’ll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, with best-in-class support through a hygiene mentor program and ongoing educational offerings to enhance your clinical skills. Responsibilities
60-minute recare and 90-minute new patient appointments SRP – hygienists discretion Utilize Dentrix practice management software Provide exceptional lifetime care to patients as part of a collaborative team Qualifications
Current dental hygienist license in Texas and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills Clinical needs as required by the office Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation Prolonged periods of sitting and standing Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically TB testing is required for all new hires in dental office positions and will be arranged during pre-employment; not applicable in FL & TN Benefits
