Overview

Senior Pharmacy Technician at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Full-Time/Day Shift. Responsibilities

Collect medication histories for emergency department or newly admitted patients and direct patient interaction. Work with pharmacists and providers to validate and verify medications patients are taking prior to admission and document the medication list in the medical record. Inpatient pharmacy duties including filling and transporting medications to nursing units in a prompt and accurate manner, and mixing sterile and non-sterile preparations. Qualifications

H.S. Diploma or GED. Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License. 1 year Retail pharmacy experience or medication history technician experience. Preferred Qualifications

Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program. PTCB; PTCB certificate in Medication History. 1 year Inpatient hospital experience. 1 year Experience with pharmacy information systems (e.g., Epic, ADM). About Providence
