Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning aligned with course outcomes, supporting all aspects of the learning environment. Provide education through student-centered instruction that prepares graduates for the evolving marketplace. Foster a culture of mutual responsibility, respect, lifelong learning, diversity, ethics, and personal and professional growth. Ensure that the university’s philosophy of quality service, development, and innovation is upheld. Participate in activities that enhance the stature of academic programs and abide by university policies.

(This is a campus-based position—not remote) KEY JOB ELEMENTS:

Manage the educational process to ensure positive student involvement in learning, teaching, and social environments. Perform faculty responsibilities as outlined in the faculty job description and faculty handbook. Deliver courses aligned with the university’s curriculum model and instructional style. Design and deliver instructional plans, activities, and assessments supporting course objectives, including online courses within approved shells. Utilize technology effectively to enhance student learning experiences. Achieve predefined student learning outcomes through effective instruction and evaluation. Create a learning-centered environment that promotes student engagement and success. Support student success with flexible teaching styles, passion for education, and active engagement. Maintain accurate records, submit grades and reports timely, and enforce academic policies. Relate professional experience to teaching, stay updated with industry trends, and incorporate industry perspectives into courses. Participate in faculty development to improve instructional skills. Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and administrators. Contribute to curriculum development, support campus events, and participate in workshops and meetings. REQUIREMENTS:

For associate degree courses: Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline, or Doctor’s degree. For baccalaureate courses: Master’s or Doctor’s degree with relevant specialization. For graduate/post-baccalaureate courses: Doctorate or terminal degree in the discipline. Experience in instruction or education, preferably at the post-secondary level. Membership in professional associations preferred. Active, valid state licensure or certification as applicable.
