This 1st shift Development Technician position will be located in our Research and Development Facility. Primary responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

Multi-faceted role to assist with processes in a rapid tooling lab as well as in the manufacturing of prototype ceramic cores and wax patterns

Operate injection molding machines, and process prototype parts as required to meet customer requirements

Occasionally tasked with tooling and product inspections, both manual as well as with structured light scanning

Operate equipment in a rapid prototyping tooling environment, primarily additive (3D printing) in nature

Responsible for standardizing/documenting procedures

Work closely with engineering and other technicians, with a common goal of producing quick turn core, pattern and casting solutions in support of both internal and external development projects

Communicate with numerous groups and juggle priorities in fast paced environment

Performs and documents a variety of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities, as required

Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution

1+ years experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment

Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree in manufacturing industrial or mechanical technology from an accredited institution

3+ years experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment

Injection molding experience

Problem solving abilities

Comfortable using various basic Windows-based software, such as Excel and Word

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong math/mechanical aptitude

Strong work ethic

Self-starter, needing little supervision

Able to work in a team environment
