Site/Civil Engineer
to join our collaborative team in
Phoenix, AZ . This role involves assisting with the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. You will gain experience in site/civil engineering design for diverse projects such as mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential communities, higher education facilities, federal projects, and other land development initiatives in a continuous learning environment. Job Responsibilities
Assist with the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects; Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.; Utilize reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, and photographs to assess soil, terrain, hydrology, topography, and geology, and their impact on project planning and design; Recommend new approaches to improve efficiency and service quality; Apply engineering principles and advanced mathematics; Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments; and Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; 1+ years of relevant experience; Minimum GPA of 3.0; EIT Certification or current registration for the FE exam; Experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
