Job Description Manufacturing Production Design Engineer

At CTech Manufacturing, we pride ourselves on designing and building innovative, high-quality storage solutions. We are looking for a Production Design Engineer to join our growing team and help bridge the gap between product design and efficient, scalable manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to support production.

Create and maintain accurate 2D/3D models, drawings, and specifications.

Partner with product development teams to ensure designs are efficient for manufacturing and assembly.

Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Troubleshoot production challenges and implement solutions.

Support new product introduction (NPI) by transitioning designs into production-ready processes.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Document procedures and support training of production teams.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role.

Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor).

Knowledge of manufacturing methods such as machining, fabrication, and assembly.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methods is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
