Nikkiso Cryoquip specializes in heat exchangers, liquefiers, and vaporizers for the LNG and industrial gases industry with applications including fueling stations, marine engines, peak shaving, power generation, virtual pipelines, and well stimulation. Job Overview We are looking for experienced welders who can perform advanced welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, or Flux-Core) to join a variety of metals and alloys. The role requires adherence to safety precautions, the ability to produce welds that pass visual and non-destructive testing, and strong attention to detail. A welding test interview is required. Rate $20/hr - $27/hr Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, weld symbols and specifications to properly layout, fabricate and weld within allowable tolerance. Must be able to qualify in the 6G position with TIG. Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and codes. Perform intermediate-level fabrication and assembly work with minimal supervision. Experience with oxyacetylene and plasma cutting techniques, including torch setup, adjustment and safety practices. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead). Able to determine that all welds meet ASME specifications. Must produce x-ray quality welds with a high passing rate. Position requires overtime, including Saturday. Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices. Qualifications

Education and Experience Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW). Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.). Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.). Minimum five years welding and fabrication experience. Professional Certification (AWS welding certificate) will be a plus. Other Details
